Gabe,
I can see your point. It's trivial to remove the entire Forum component -
leaving the FAQ, Weblinks, News, etc.
I'm getting lots of reaction to this - both privately and publicly. Some
positive - some negative. I'll adjust the site however the PLUG community
sees fit. But I think we should keep the forum enabled for the time being
- just to give the rest of the group a chance to see it.
Also, I think that there _could_ be a way to sync the mailing list with
the forum - without causing any more mail than a posting already
generates. However, I would need to work with someone more knowledgable
about how mailman works to figure out how to build this bridge. Could that
be you?
