[PLUG] Boot from RedHat CD Failure

Hi,

I'm trying to boot from a RedHat 8.0 install disc in a DVD-ROM drive on an
old P2/400Mhz IBM Aptiva.

Sometimes the boot it successful, other times I get:

isolinux: Disk error BB, AX = 4280, drive AC

Is this boot failure the result of a media or hardware problem?
