[PLUG] mutt, gpg_recvkeys_command

I used to have this line in my muttrc:

    set pgp_getkeys_command="gpg --recv-keys %r"

It used to work, I think.  Now %r, despite documentation to the
contrary, is being replaced with the user's email address instead of
the key ID.  Seems the bug's been reported:

    http://bugs.guug.de/db/12/1208.html

but I haven't found a work-around.  Anyone know a work-around?
