[PLUG] 16-bit voice modem

I have googled this to death and am not having any luck.
I need a voice modem that will play 16-bit out-going prompts.
It's hard weeding through the hits on 16 bit bus. :-(
Win modems are ok if they can be loaded via linmodem.
External (normally my pref) is undesirable but any info
will be greatly appreciated.
My current modem only plays 8-bit (US_Robotics 1)
