I had a DSL outage this morning and when it came back I had sendmail
issues. It seems that it could not resolve domains of incoming mail and
thus rejected them.
My DNS was working fine and I even stopped and restarted it to no avail.
I finally had to kill all sendmail jobs and restart sendmail. Sendmail was
then able to resolve.
Obviously I would like this to not happen. I would like it to just reset
no matter how long the connection is out.
Any ideas?
I don't every remember having this problem when I was running PPP.
