Thanks for the warning.  I've decided that since I have a working video
card at home that I can use in the new box I'll decide based on other 
factors.  

The principle ones being: 
   AMD 64 vs Pentium D Dual Core
   Gateway's systems have the BTX style case               + to Gateway
   HP's CD/DVD burner has the ability to burn the labels   + to HP

Decisions, decisions.
