Re: [PLUG] ubuntu dedicated servers -- recommendations

I looked at unixshell, and their 512 plan
(http://www.unixshell.com/plans.html) costs more than some dedicated
servers I've seen. I am looking for a hosting solution for 2 web
applications, one of which will be apache/mysql (Ajaxian MySQL
connections) intensive, and the other will be CPU intensive
(text-to-speech generation). So sharing a box with various other
people is not so appealing to me.
However, Xen virtualization servers do have their place, and I will
keep unixshell in mind for other projects.
Thanks for the suggestion, and to everyone else who suggested hosts.
Although I haven't made a final decision, I am leaning towards
rackmounted.com dedicated servers.
