If you're running ntp, it can be done with the ntpdate
command as root.
ntpdate -u pool.ntp.org
Question - Wikipedia defines ctime as the number of seconds
since 0:00:00 January 1, 1970. Why is that not true? How
many seconds is it off by?
I believe we've had 23 leap seconds since 1972.
Regards,
Mike
