I ran a Win PE disk that came up fine.
Tried latest Ubuntu, couldn't make it boot when I hit enter.
Tried KDE, worked perfectly.
I'm wondering if I have to remove and reinstall X. I did reconfigure
but that didn't change a thing.

Haven't changed anything but will do.
