I figured. And I didn't say explicitly, that I don't want to be too
specific. :-) Which hurts me, I realize...

No it didn't, but likewise I may have been too brief. :-)
Looks like there aren't an easy answers, which is OK, I just wanted to
cover my bases.

"Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on
software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and
implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law.
