Re: [PLUG] How can I make my wifi manager just remember passwords without a kwallet or keyring?

I took Art's advice and tried wicd, which is working great so far and isn't
tied to a desktop. I'm convinced that its much better than the KDE wifi
manager. That's before we consider that both the wifi managers from KDE and
Gnome are dependent on their wallet/keyring services. Kwallet is broken,
keyring is a dependency that should not exist.

I believe that all the recent installs of UBuntu, KBuntu, Xubuntu work
this way, I
don't remember any password required by network Manager, but the WiFi
authentication was
stored per user - so other users had to re-authenticate.
