The saga of my new/old PC continues.
To summarize, it's a Dell Dimension 2400 w/an integrated Intel 82845g
video chipset. This chipset does not play nicely w/linux, and will
only work using VESA (aka lowest common denominator) drivers. While I
have a few AGP graphics cards handy, this PC only supports PCI- not
AGP, not even PCI-Express, just straight PCI.
So, does anyone have an unused PCI video card to donate to a worthy
fellow linux user? I'll gladly trade you one or both of the AGP cards.
