I've got an old Dell "Precision Workstation 630" I want to give a way.
It's a dual Xeon processor system, and a 40-pound beast in a desktop
tower case. It's a little flaky, since it sometimes boots and sometimes
doesn't (all four server status lights flash when it doesn't boot.)
16 GBytes RAM, tons of SATA ports. I got Gentoo compiled and running on
it, but I've stripped the hard disk and video card from it. Oh, and it
still smells of cigarettes. The previous owner was a VERY heavy
smoker. Most of the odor has dissipated, but it's still noticeable.
Free to a good home, pickup only. I'm in East Earl, PA (20 minutes east
of Lancaster).
[Free, but if you'd like to offer something in trade, I'd be happy to
take any pre-2000 equipment you might want to get rid of.]
Casey
