This seems like something everyone would want in a drone.
I want a drone with VR goggles that presents true stereoscopic vision.
The problem with drones is that you get no sense of depth with a single
camera, even if you use VR goggles. To me, the greatest appeal of
flying a drone is the ability to put myself (virtually) in the drone and
fly around at 200 Feet AGL.
As far as I know, nobody has developed a dual-camera system.
I understand the video bandwidth demands are doubled with 2 cameras, but
considering we now have low-latency video at 1 mile-plus range, I would
think that this isn't impossible.
Anybody know of such a creature?
TIA!
Casey
