Maybe we'll also talk some more about the future of

There's also a wee bit 'o tracking (perhaps for lack of better place)

Yes, and am also wondering whether BerkeleyLUG founder Jack D and/or
Grant B will be present this Sunday to go over some of these either
in-person
or via IRC https://berkeleylug.com/berkeleylug/ ?

Well, I kind'a doubt either will show up :-/ ... but never know, they do
sometimes show at various (semi-)random BerkeleyLUG meetings in more
recent years.

As far as bits to be worked out for, e.g. transfer ... some of that's
been covered or at least outlined in planning, but too, much remains:

I don't know that anyone other than Jack has sufficient access to the
WordPress.com BerkeleyLUG.com site to be able to do an export of the
data there. To do any smooth transition off of $48.00USD/yr.
Wordpress.com hosting to wordpress hosted elsewhere, with same
BerkeleyLUG.com domain and no advertising, would require, at the
appropriate time (also need suitable target set up and prepared,
and other prerequisite covered), need to be able to export
from the old, take it down, import to new, bring it up and make
relevant DNS changes, etc., and then it's off and running on new,
with relatively negligible disruption, and most of existing functionality,
data, structure, pages, etc. in place and continuing to operate
at least approximately per "usual" (less the $48.00USD/yr WordPress.com
hosting). Also don't know where we are in the $4.00/mo. billed
annually cycle we are. Would be nice to have at least 6 months
to work out all the transition bits ... that's 6 months once all
the requisite access is in place.

I think only Grant has full control of the IRC channel.

Will need to transfer domain at some point, but mostly have to work
out wordpress stuff first.

Etc., etc. - but the above are some of the higher/highest priority
outstanding tasks still dependent (or at least mostly so) on legacy
(Jack & Grant) holders of (most) infrastructure control, etc.

And, maybe on IRC ... but I mostly tend to forget to (re)connect on there.
Even when I do, it's mostly just me, or me and Grant there only.
