thanks for the updatefeliz navidad--El sáb., 28 dic. 2019 a las 16:00, tom r lopes (<tomrlopes@gmail.com>) escribió:Next week Sunday Jan 5 2020 from 11 to 2pm at Cafe Blue Door.I'll also try to be at Blue Door tomorrow, but I'm working tonight so I may be late.My project is still the wireless weather station,. I hope that with work slowing down i can finally make some progress. Also I just picked up a couple of ESP32-CAM'sI've mentioned the esp32 and esp8266 before, they are small wifi microcontrollers.Originally marketed as serial to wifi for IOT uses, but found to have a goodmicrocontroller which can be programmed with the Arduino ide.Anyways these little boards are supposed to be able to stream camera video. AndI have a project idea for that. I had thought of using a Pi Zero, and have experimented with wireless AP mode on a PI. But I think this will be better (lower power and all that)Also I have read about a new product: wifi usb switch:This may be good for turning on and off an older PI (Pi 4 uses USB C)BTW the Sonoff smart plugs and switches supposedly use ESP boards and arehackable. But this new smart USB adapter uses a new chip.Any ways hope to see you there. Happy New PI Year!Thomas--
