I will be at Strada a bit after 10 but before 11.
And will

Bring CyclopsCam.
Attach to one laptop w/Ubuntu -- hopefully I can get the right audio and video configured for Jitsi.
I will face the camera so you can sit to avoid or not.
   This is first real test!

Bring a cable lock. I have only one.

Bring a power strip

Hdmi capture dongle and cable.  You can jitsi on your own or connect to the Cyclops stream
    via capture

Other laptop I will probably be trying out OBS Studio, seeing if I can improve the stream in future.

If I have forgotten anything let me know,

Hybrid Meetup.
As Tom wrote previously, he is planning to participate in the BerkeleyLUG meetup live from Caffe Strada's outdoor area, across the street from the the South side of the Cal campus. Caffe Strada writeup at Yelp's https://www.yelp.com/biz/caffe-strada-berkeley

Further thoughts from Tom, Rick, Michael, Chris and others on the hybrid meetup, including at least the following......
- possibilities for persons to actually attend this meetup *in-person* at Caffe Strada?

Sure!  I will be there.  I have been fully vaccinated

- upper limit to participant capacity as far as table space and power supply?

Tables are the cafe style i.e. small round tables.  Last week for Pi meeting me and Alan could have gotten two
but Alan thought he was tough enough to computering on his lap.  I had the table.
For power there are plugs all around outside.  Alan and I were on the front patio area and the plugs are on the
building side.  The plugs were a bit loose so a grounded outlet strip would be a good idea.

- best means of securing computing devices and other hardware at Caffe Strada's outdoor area from physical theft?

I have no direct knowledge of a theft problem there.  But in "thinking like a criminal"  I would expect it to be a good
hunting ground.  It is pretty open and a thief would have quick access to a getaway car.
Blue Door was like a maze and so felt more secure.
And students tend to have "fruit" machines worth 2 to 3 times more than what I bring.  They would be more of a target.
For me the pandemic was good for business and I'm sporting a couple nice non-fruits.  So it is more concerning now.

I have a cable lock.  I could bring it for you if it would ease your mind.  The combo is 000 or 0000.  You only need
enough to discourage "grab and run"
