I thought the same thing. I was confused, not being at the meeting last week. In all honesty, I've never heard the term "Fringe" Programming Language, and wonder about it. At least in Philly, I'd think it'd be _more_ confusing than Philly Lambda. Why not just just call us FunctionalPHL, or FuncLangPHL? At least with FuncLang you get the symbol abbreviation common in the functional language world...
