Hey Folks,

Our next meeting will be on March 28th at the Comcast Center.  Michael Poulshock will present: Akkadian - A Domain Specific Language For Codifying The Law.  Abstract follows.

Akkadian is a DSL used to model legal rules as part of the open source Hammurabi Project (www.hammura.bi).  Akkadian's main features are advanced temporal reasoning, reasoning under uncertainty, and the automatic generation of interactive interviews.  It's purpose is to provide a way to computationally express rules found in statutes, regulations, and policy materials, so they can be linked together into a large-scale, open source compliance library.
