[PhillyOnRails] Highlight

I'm having issues getting the additional options in the visual effect
"highlight" to work. This is what I have
page.visual_effect :highlight, :duration => 3
That works
As soon as I add :startcolor => "#F0F" or more options, the effect doesn't work
Any thoughts?
