The 17" was too big for me. I can't recommend it. True, the 15" MBP has a 'could be larger' screen but at least it doesn't give my shoulder a skin crease when I carry it.

The Timbuk2 Commute bag is very nice. Has a padded pocket for the notebook and enough room for charger, iPod, a book or two. The medium is a perfect fit for a 15 inch PowerBook so it should fit the 15 inch MacBook Pro as well.
