I live roughly an hour away a bit north of Trenton - center city, NE Pilly, it doesn't matter. What matters is not where the group meets but the fact that it does meet. -----Original Message----- From: talk-bounces@phillyonrails.org [mailto:talk-bounces@phillyonrails.org] On Behalf Of Christopher Continanza Sent: Thursday, November 09, 2006 11:17 AM To: talk@phillyonrails.org Subject: Re: [PhillyOnRails] Center City Meeting @ Comcast Hey Guys: Although I suggested the comcast building a minute ago, I can't help but wholeheartedly agree with Cassius. But I would still love to see any meetings happen in center city! One of the reasons I moved to a city was in the hopes of having a user group that met there and I could walk to. also, if we think of all the ruby on rails action in the philly area, having RUG meetings in fort-washington all the time and alternating pubnites gives the burbs 3/4 and CC 1/4 the only way to have things 50-50 is: 1) have RUG meetings in FT washington and PubNites in CC 2) Alternate locations for both RUG meetings and pubnites-- that way each month there could be one CC event and one Ft washington event. what do you guys think? cheers, chris ps. Cassius: thank you for the sobriety check.
