This( http://www.dslreports.com/ ) seems to be a good place to find out about DSL providers.  Also, I attended a Q&A given by Keith Duncan, President/CEO of DCANet and I really liked his attitude.

May I ask which DSL provider you have?

I've been looking for a while now at Bell, Voicenet and Earthstation
Netaxs.  Just recently, I checked out Telocity, and it seems like a
great deal.  They provide a static IP and allow personal servers.
