Philadelphia sports fans are notoriously tough. Eagles fans once
booed Santa when he made an appearence at a football game. They may
have also thrown snowballs at him, but maybe I'm confusing that with
another incident.
The bombing is a reference to former mayor Wilson Goode's bombing of
the MOVE house (and the ensuing destruction of the entire 6200 block
of Osage Ave. in West Philly) on May 13, 1985.
