Dave Rolsky, co-author of "Embedding Perl in HTML with Mason"[1] and author of a whole bunch of cool CPAN modules[2], will be in town in August and has offered to do a presentation for us. It looks like the talk will most likely be on August 11, not the 18th as stated in Dave's email. Given the list of topics below, which are people most interested in hearing? I saw on your website that you normally have talks on the third Monday of the month, which'd be August 18. This can probably work for me. Here's a list of things I could talk about: - Intro to Alzabo (c. 1hr) - Intro to Mason (c. 1hr) - Advanced Masonry (c 1.5hrs) - Dates & Times in Perl (c 1.5hrs) - Industrial Strength Perl - parameter validation, exceptions/error-handling, & logging (c 45mins) Please let me know if you guys are intersted. -dave /*======================= House Absolute Consulting www.houseabsolute.com =======================*/ ----- End forwarded message ----- - **Majordomo list services provided by PANIX <URL:http://www.panix.com>** **To Unsubscribe, send "unsubscribe phl" to majordomo@lists.pm.org**
