Our money is just as green as the Republican Nat'l Committee's.  :-)

Convention centers are big places.  Virtually no convention maxes out an
entire facility.  There are always concurrent events in a big convention
center.  There are always small meeting rooms available, like the ones
that hold 480 (theater style) and split in three to hold 160/each.

That room is listed at $1165/day.  Cheaper than the "cheap" space at
GWU.  Basic room rate is $3500 for thee days, or less than $20/person @
200 people.

I call that cheap.  :-)
