In case anyone missed the news... ----- Forwarded message from Norbert Gruener <nog@MPA-Garching.MPG.DE> ----- Date: Thu, 15 Sep 2005 14:25:02 +0200 From: Norbert Gruener <nog@MPA-Garching.MPG.DE> To: Perl Monger Group coordinators <pm_groups@pm.org> Mail-Followup-To: Perl Monger Group coordinators <pm_groups@pm.org> Subject: [pm_groups] Announcement of YAPC::Europe 2006 Venue Announcement of YAPC::Europe 2006 Venue --------------------------------------- YAPC::Europe::2006 in Birmingham, UK The YAPC::Europe Foundation <http://www.yapceurope.org/> is very pleased to announce that Birmingham PM <http://birmingham.pm.org/> has been selected to host the seventh conference to be held in the late summer of 2006 <http://www.yapceurope.org/conferences.html> . The YAPC::Europe::2005 in Braga, Portugal <http://www.yapceurope.org/2005> with their /Perl Everywhere/ theme, was an example to us all of a well organised and interesting European Perl conference, and thanks are due to the organisers. So much unseen work goes on behind the scenes, during the preceding year as well as during the 3-day event itself, to create and manage a culturally diverse meeting of this magnitude. Birmingham PM <http://birmingham.pm.org/> have their work cut out to continue the tradition of improving on past events, great things are expected from the center of the UK, and we wish them an interesting and successful conference next year. You can subscribe to the YEF::mailing lists <http://www.yapceurope.org/contact.html> to keep up to date on all developments. -- Request pm.org Technical Support via support@pm.org pm_groups mailing list pm_groups@pm.org http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/pm_groups ----- End forwarded message ----- Attachment:
