The Application Developer will focus on developing and supporting e-Business
software applications. This includes: working with internal business owners
and business analysts to understand software requirements; creating
supporting design documentation, including use cases, object models, data
models, sequence diagrams, and design specifications; performing unit
testing and writing automated unit tests to ensure software quality; and
resolving defects through testing cycles.
Primary responsibilities include formal design and development in Perl CGI
and modperl Web applications for e-biz website. Additional responsibilities
include design and development in Java and PL/SQL.

Professional experience with UML design / Formal design process

Moderate experience in J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, SOAP, XML,
HTML, Oracle PL/SQL
Experience in Spring, Hibernate, BEA Weblogic a plus, but not required.
Strong experience in creating software design.
Strong knowledge of databases and structured data.
