Should we use meetup.com or something like it to help with administrivia like RSVPs. I noticed that there are 25 people in the immediate area on meetup.com that interested in perl who AFAIK are not perl mongers. I vaguely remember something about costs for creating/maintaining groups, but we could avoid fiscal wrangling if there's an open source equivalent that we can run off of pm.org. Will put this on the "do while Between" list ... On 10 Dec 2008, at 08:24, Walt Mankowski wrote: Just a reminder that we're meeting for beer and dinner tonight at Nodding Head. I've only gotten 4 RSVPs so far. RSVPing isn't a requirement, but it'll help us make sure we get a big enough table for everyone. See you tonight. Any interest in a meeting next week? I can do any night but Monday. We could do dinner, or iffolks are interested in a tech meeting I could do one of the talks I did at YAPC or PPW.So I talked with some of the mongers who went to Mark's talk last night, and we decided on a plan. We're going to Nodding Head next Wednesday, December 10, at 7 PM. Nodding Head is a brewpub at 1516 Sansom St. in Center City. If you're thinking of going, please RSVP so we have an idea of how many people will be coming.
