Re: [Philadelphia-pm] June 11: Linked Data

FWIW, I drive in and park at 1540 Vine St (

It is $7 after 5pm (used to be $5).

It is ~.7 miles from Promptworks.

There are many people around and businesses open along the walk and I've never felt unsafe.

Generally speaking Center City, the area you’ll be walking in, is one of the safest parts of Philly—as Walt said there will be  people on the streets and lots of open bars and restaurants.  It’s a big city so not devoid of crime but I don’t think you could ask for a safer part of the city.

Lyft, Uber and a cab would be also very easy to get from the location of the meeting but I don’t think that’s necessary—philly’s a great walking city, one of the best.
