How do you set NFS permissions?

How do you set NFS permissions? Here's my error:
(I'm root on both servers...)
mount: gclx07:/mnt/export failed, reason given by server: Permission denied

...Here's host gclx07...
[root@gclx07 /mnt]# ls -la
total 5
drwxr-xr-x   5 root     root         1024 Mar  5 07:52 .
drwxr-xr-x  18 root     root         1024 Dec 30 09:49 ..
