My x-perience tyan as a company been great. They provide good warranties on their boards (3 years) and the turn around time is fairly fast (2-3 days - I had the case open on the 'putter and grounded out something on the board). What you have to be aware of is that it is not so much the board that causes problems as the BIOS and chip sets. To be sure, keep with Intel based sets. One additional thing you may need to research is if there are any problems regarding the integration of all of the stuff on the motherboard. If you call Tyan, they are very helpful and will provide you with any information that they have regarding this products and Linux. "LeRoy D.
