Do you have other PCMCIA cards that are working..more to the point, is your
PCMCIA starting?
I had similar problems with RH6.0, and I solved it with a kernel recompile, and
chose my specific NIC, and compiled it into the kernel.
Solved..and reduced the size of my kernel by about 100K.
