As long as we're talking about computer jobs, anybody know of somebody who would hire me (a 17 year old soon to be HS senior w/ Linux, Win95, & MacOS experience, programming abibilities in C/C++, some QBasic, GWBasic, etc.., html knowledge, and a whole bunch of general computer knowledge) in some kind of computer related position. I'm not looking for high pay or a sexy title, just a job relating to computers. I'm willing to work for next to nothing. Just few bucks & a recomendation & some experience.

Hello fellow PLUG list members,

I apologize for the somewhat off-topic post here.  I hope it is of
interest to at least some.

DCANet, a 30-person regional Internet access provider based in
Philadelphia and Wilmington (and my employer!), has an immediate opening
for a Unix and IP network system administrator.  Qualifications for the
position include:

  * Experience installing and administering Unix servers (required),
    experience with BSDI BSD/OS, Linux, and Solaris a plus
  * Familiarity with BIND/DNS, IP routing (required)
  * Experience with Cisco IOS, wide-area network protocols,
    firewalls, and network encryptions systems helpful
  * Familiarity with xDSL, OSPF, and PHP+PERL a BIG plus

The position can be based in either DCANet's Philadelphia office (near
2nd & Market in Old City) or DCANet's downtown Wilmington office. This is
a full-time salaried position with health, dental, 401(k), and other
benefits (including, of course, free Internet access!).
