Well, I can certainly sympathize. I was running Wincrash95 on my 'junk box'
and decided to get a real OS (RH 6.0), only to find my video card not
supported, my modem, etc. My solution was to get supported hardware and be
done with it. My experience level with UNIX systems of all sorts is pretty
much zero, so I plan to start attending the monthly meeting. That is
probably a good place to start for you as well.
I hope to see you all tonight. There is a free Sun Ra show at Rittenhouse
that I wanted to go to tonight, but there are priorities. How's that for
commitment?
