Keep in mind that RedHat wants to make money. They are currently losing many 
many millions of dollars a year. They also do a lot of Open Source 
programming that is high quality and that they give away for free. You can 
just d/l it from their ftp site. I'd say that they're already doing a lot 
for the community.
