Edit /etc/modules.conf and add: alias ppp-compress-21 bsd_comp alias ppp-compress-24 ppp_deflate # protocol number from draft RFC alias ppp-compress-26 ppp_deflate # real protocol number. I found this by doing a seach on dejanews on this line: modprob can't locate module ppp-compress-21 J. When I grow up, I wanna be more like me. I had a clue. I didn't like it. I took it back and exchanged it for an attitude.
