Installing the Debian system requires you to make two floppy disks. One is called resc1440.bin which is a rescue disk and the other is called drv1440.bin which is the drivers disk. On a Windows or DOS system you need the rawrite2.exe which will make a bootable floppy of the disk image. All of these can be obtained from ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/slink/main/disks-i386/current/ Also in this directory there is good reading about how to install a Debian distribution.
