I wonder if they can even legally do that. It might even be cheaper than some of the other solutions from a maintenance perspective and because you don't have to issue any cards or anything.

The down side may be $200 per machine and that you may have people upset
that you are scanning their fingerprints.  You know, the conspiracy theory,
big brother watching type concerns.
