Even a pci RealTek chipset card is >$30.00 and comes with a tee and terminator. all you nned is a hunk of coax. If you want to use the rj45 (10BASE-T) connector you can still get away without using a hub if you get a cross over cable. Regular cables are wired 1+2 on one end to 1+2 on the other and 3+6 on one end to 3+6 on the other with the + pairs twisted around each other. A crossover cable is 1+2 to 3+6 and 3+6 to the 1+2 pair. In other words... 1 -------------------------------------- 3 2 -------------------------------------- 6 3 -------------------------------------- 1 6 -------------------------------------- 2 _______________________________________________ Plug maillist - Plug@lists.nothinbut.net http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
