On second glance, it looks like I'd have to have the ability to install software on the client as well to use this. And M$ proxy server isn't listed as working. Thanks anyway though.

If you're behind a firewall that restricts ports to things like http [80],
or ftp [21], you can just set up your telet (better off useing ssh) to
listen on these ports.  Depending on the firewall, you should be able
to 'telnet' across it on these ports.

There is also this software:

  http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel.html

which allows you to set up a tunnell between 2 boxes using what look
like http requests/responses.  If the firewall is advanced enough to
actually look at what's going across port 80, weather or not the traffic
looks like real http transmissions, then you should be able to use this
software to get across it.

Of course, if they have the firewall locked down, it's probably for a
reason, and by circumventing it, you may make them less than cheery.
