Re: [Plug] ttysnoop and /dev/vcs# and $1 meeting parking





$1 garage went well. Its the garage next to the movies just south of
Chestnut St. on Second St. I didn't ask any questions -- just gave my
ticket and $1 to the attendant!

Virtual terminal (re: ttysnoop) works well.
cat /dev/vcs0 shows screen shot of whatever (text) console is viewed at the
current time.
cat /dev/vcs2 shows console 2, etc.

Now the clincher. How do I set up a vcs## to represent /dev/pts/1 and the
like? Do I merely use a symbolic link? The man pages assume everybody
already knows this stuff!
