I need space because I do large amounts of audio editing in like two hour 96kbps clips, so storage space was of prime concern to me, not to mention the lack of cash on hand -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- M. I'd rather have speed than space. Currently I have a 9.1G 10K rpm seagate cheetah drive. I picked it up shortly after it came out. It was my final break away from ide drives. I guess its just a mindset. The next drive I'm getting is an 18G cheetah. Of course that'll be for my next box. I just helped a friend of mine put together a dual P2 450. I think I need one :) Prices were pretty good. Maybe when I get my tax return.... :) I guess what I'm saying is, a while back I was confronted with the choice of the larger, cheaper solution or the smaller, faster solution. If it was a system I didnt have to use every day I probably would have gone IDE. I'm very glad I didnt.
