i bought a book "learning debian gnu/linux " by bill mccarty at u of penna. the book and a valinux disk came as a package for $35. the book is worth the $14 and the ride is shorter. the valinux disk is pure debian. there are a few of their favorites inserted. i am running on it. truly, sandy basickes >I was at Micro Center earlier today, and I noticed they have a copy of >Debian there for $21.99. It might've had a couple >other demos too. One thing I definitely remember, though, is that the >version number was *not* printed on the box; I looked. I assume it's >some kind of 2.1 snapshot?
