I was at Micro Center earlier today, and I noticed they have a copy of Debian there for $21.99. The box said "Debian GNU/Linux Sponsored by VALinux, SGI, and <one other one>". Comes with a demo version of Myth II. Sorry, I'm starting to forget details. It might've had a couple other demos too. One thing I definitely remember, though, is that the version number was *not* printed on the box; I looked. I assume it's some kind of 2.1 snapshot? Anyway, I just thought I'd pass this along. This is the same Micro Center that I posted a couple of months ago that had Slackware 7 for ~$15.00. They seem to have expanded the line of Linux software they are carrying. Lots of different distros, and even some commercial apps and games. FreeBSD CDs, a CD of GNU source code, that sort of thing. If you're interested, take the Blue Route to exit 5, head west; they're in a shopping center probably ~.5 mile from the highway on the left across from a hotel. And no, their web site isn't set up for ordering. :( Bill -- "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought. But World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." -- A. E.
