My secondary recomendation is... everyone needs apt :) I currently actively use Debian (at home) and RedHat (at work), and haven't used anything else since I've had enough experience to have an opinion of a distribution. I still feel like I should try SuSE, just because of that slashdot poll (http://slashdot.org/pollBooth.pl?qid=distro2), but I'm just rather happy with Debian. __________________________________________________________________ PGP fingerprint = 03 5B 9B A0 16 33 91 2F A5 77 BC EE 43 71 98 D4 darxus@op.net / http://www.op.net/~darxus Chaos reigns. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
