They're well hidden... Actually, the lists for XFree86 have
historically been members only, although I think there are a few
exceptions today. The easiest way to get on is hit the web site
(http://www.xfree86.org) and agree to do development or testing work on
one of the drivers. The 'joining Xfree86' stuff may look a little
discouraging on first read, but I think that is just to prevent people
trying to join who might not want to make a contribution later.

Back to the mailing lists: The main list is fairly high traffic, and
unless you like 30-80 mails a day about X-server internals, you will get
buried. If you would like, I can forward questions for you. I can also
check the archives for USB discussion. I recall a little traffic within
the last few months on USB keyboards, but don't recall the detail. Is
your main interest in hooking up multiple USB keyboards and how they
would function?

You can also direct support questions to XFree86@xfree86.org. If you
post a USB question there you'll either get a direct answer or it will
get bounced to the main developer list for a reply. And last options,
there are a few newsgroups related to X usage. There is a lot of info
there, but I don't follow it regularly. If you'd like, I can get a list
of a couple I check once in a while (it's at home at the moment.)
