If you have RedHat 6.1 or newer, please mail me the output of grep 127.0.0.1 /etc/hosts Older versions had an /etc/hosts file with a 127.0.0.1 line that looked like: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost Which caused problems for anything that expected 127.0.0.1 to resolve as "localhost" (which it should). So I want to know if they fixed it before I try to send in a bug report. If it's fixed, it'll look more like: 127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain __________________________________________________________________ PGP fingerprint = 03 5B 9B A0 16 33 91 2F A5 77 BC EE 43 71 98 D4 darxus@op.net / http://www.op.net/~darxus Chaos reigns. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
