I would like : to know if there was anyway to scan the internal drive before the extaernal : one. If the symbios is a PCI card, swap places with the Megaraid. That is, physically swap slots. If not, I bet the bios on the megaraid is activated. Turn it off... I ran into the same "problem" in a system that's got an AHA2940U2W w/ a 9G OS/swap drive, and a megaraid with 5 18G U2W's in a RAID5. Swapping the PCI slots did the trick, then it occurred to me that I most likely could have avoided that by just disabling the bios on the megaraid. BTW, I'm referring to a megaraid 466, YMMV. -- Jason Costomiris <>< Technologist, cryptogeek, human. jcostom {at} jasons {dot} org | http://www.jasons.org/ ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
