RE: [PLUG] reinstall debian

Hi Leroy,

I have not been at the meetings because of other commitments, but I expect
to make April's.
Does dmesg report the entire screen output during boot.
If you read my boot screen output you might tell me where the problem is.

Right now I can install two nics and ping both.
If I do a ifconfig down and up I can not ping the one I down and up.
ifconfig reports the nic up and the other machines can not ping the nic
until I reboot

I have another Debian box with one nic and I can down and up with no
problem.

dmesg http://users.erols.com/sgotg/MESG after boot
ifconfig http://users.erols.com/sgotg/IF before ifconfig second nic
ioports http://users.erols.com/sgotg/PRTS
interrupts http://users.erols.com/sgotg/IRQ

Hi Marc,

I'm wondering what you are attempting to reconfigure. Are you trying to
reconfigure your mail, network or what? Any of these can be
reconfigured from a running system. Please tell us what you really want
to do.
